Seminar on “Creating awareness on Cyber Security and ICT Act” held at American International University – Bangladesh.
A Seminar titled “Creating awareness on Cyber Security and ICT Act” jointly organized by Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and IT, Insight Bangladesh Foundation and American International University –Bangladesh with the Cooperation of AIUB Computer Club(ACC) was held on March 22, 2015 at AIUB Auditorium. The seminar was organized as a part of the government’s nationwide awareness program on ICT Act in different levels.
Prof. M. A. Quiayum, Register, American International University – Bangladesh was present at the inaugural session of the seminar as chief guest and Special guest was Mr. Mashiour Rahman, Director, Faculty of Science and Information technology.
The seminar was duly started by Mr. Mashiour Rahman (Director, Faculty of Science and Information technology).In his inspiring speech, He emphasized on how much cyber awareness is important for all with some excellent examples . After that Prof. M. A. Quiayum delivered his speech and inaugurate the seminar.
Then the speakers emphasized on cyber security and introduced some technical information to the student as well as tried to create awareness on cyber security and ICT Acts among the students.
More than 150 students were registered and joined the event and received the opportunity to interact with and learn from the speakers.
