Firefox@AIUB arranged a workshop on 10th September, Friday,2021 “Say Hello to Firefox“ in collaboration with AIUB Computer Club(ACC) open for all members. Its motive was to make a clear view about Mozilla, providing all resources and sharing the previous experience with newcomers. The workshop was conducted by Salman Rahman Desh (Club Advisor & Former Club Lead) using an online platform: google meet.
Club Lead Shaila Yasmin Erin and Club lead peer Abdus Shakur hosted the online meeting at 8 o’clock by introducing the speaker Salman Rahman Desh (Club Advisor & Former Club Lead). Mr. Salman Rahman Desh started the session by sharing his experience and to make the attendees more clear about the Mozilla resources. He also shared his screen to describe how to contribute and what is the attraction of Mozilla. All the attendees were amazed at “Mozilla Hub” because they can join instantly there and can communicate with others by using animated avatars.
Indeed, the meeting was fruitful to figure out all the queries and get motivated by our club advisors. In the end, Abhijit Bhowmik, Associate Professor and Special Assistant, Office of Student Affairs, AIUB inspired attendees with some insights about the marketplace regarding this sector and future possibilities, and Abrar Rafid, President, AIUB Computer Club also shared his point of view.
