AIUB Computer Club Organized an Orientation Ceremony of Recruitment Spring 21-22 and Prize Giving Ceremony of Jarvis 2.0 and Jarvis 3.0

AIUB Computer Club (ACC), one of the reputable clubs of AIUB organized the ‘Orientation Ceremony’ for the newly recruited members of the Spring 21-22 Recruitment and a ‘Prize Giving Ceremony for Jarvis 2.0 and Jarvis 3.0 on 30th March 2022 at 3:00 pm on Multipurpose Hall 2, D building. Habiba Nasreen, Assistant General Secretary – Media And Publication, ACC, and Farjana Ahmed, Assistant General Secretary – Public Relations, ACC alongside Abrar Rafid, President, ACC, and Abdur Rahman Emon, General Secretary, ACC hosted the event.

At the onset of the orientation ceremony, Ms. Nasreen and Ms. Ahmed warmly welcomed all the members and interacted with the new members as well. Continuing the program Mr. Rafid addressed the history, mission, and vision of the club, along with that, he presented a short overview of the club activities, club fest, connected wings, and so on. After that, the event was graced by the presence of the club advisor, Abhijit Bhowmik, Associate Professor and Special Assistant, Office of Student Affairs, AIUB, and Manzur Hossain Khan, Associate Professor, FSIT, and the Director of OSA (Office Of Student Affairs), AIUB. Upon introducing and calling them on stage by Ms. Nasreen, took the floor and Mr. Khan told about the club’s reputation and appreciation. Then, Mr. Rafid announced the winners of Jarvis 2.0 and 3.0 and the honorable guests Mr. Bhowmik and Mr. Khan handed over the prizes to the winners.

Afterward, Mr. Bhowmik inspired the members to be enthusiastic and participate in the club events and gave his valuable advice to them. Later, the new members were called on stage to give their introduction. In the introduction session, members introduced themselves and presented some cultural activities. As the event was graced by the honorable alumni as well, therefore all of them gave their best piece of advice to club members. The program was entertaining and was amused by the appearance of the honorable guests and the responses of the club members and alumni.
