Empowering Smart Bangladesh Through Meghna Cloud

On October 9, 2023, GenNext Technologies Ltd organized a seminar titled “Empowering smart Bangladesh through Meghna Cloud” with the support of AIUB Computer Club. MS. Radia Noushin (General member of AIUB Computer Club) hosted the seminar at the Auditorium, D Building of the American International University – Bangladesh. The main purpose of the seminar was to introduce the revolutionary contribution of Meghna Cloud in the digital landscape. It also offers the opportunity and guidelines of the technology for students so that they can engage themselves for future success.

The chief guest of the seminar was MrSayeef Rahman, (The Operation Officer of GenNext Technologies Ltd. and the speaker of Keynote). He discussed the value of the internet and cloud computing system networking in his address. He started off by having a very interesting conversation with the students and answering their questions. He started out by explaining Meghna Cloud and its role in the networking system. He then questioned the class on their opinions of networking and cloud computing. Most students were familiar with the networking system. He continued by talking about the Tier-4 Data Centre in Gazipur and how his team had dealt with the government four years earlier. He also included information about the internet system and how it functions both at work and at home.

Additionally, he highlighted the OSI’s seven levels, and the type of cable used for the internet. The susceptibility of our Wi-Fi network was also brought up by Mr. Sayeef. He discussed cyber security in addition, and he advised the learners to continue their study in this area. He encouraged students to cooperate by encouraging them to share their project-based work and appreciate the reactive learners for their contribution to the question answer session.

Mr. Sayeef organized a photo opportunity with the student who paid close attention throughout the entire program and participated in the question-and-answer portion. The session was concluded by Mr. Abhijit Bhowmik, (Associate professor department of computer science and special assistant of OSA), who gave a token of appreciation to the guest speaker and thanked GenNext Technologies Ltd.
