AIUB Computer Club (ACC), one of the most prestigious clubs of AIUB, arranged an orientation program for the newly recruited members and a farewell program for the senior club members on 9th April, 2019 at the Multipurpose Hall (Annex-7).
The program started with the history and visions of ACC. In addition, current and former executive body, founding members and the advisors of ACC were introduced with everyone. The executive members of two wings of ACC, BASIS Students’ Forum AIUB Chapter and Firefox at AIUB also shared their campus activities with everyone.
Afterwards, Mr. Abhijit Bhowmik, Special Assistant, Office of Student Affairs, graced the event with his presence and motivated the new members to develop their skills by actively participating in various events organized by ACC. Then he provided souvenirs to the former executive body members and seniors as a recognition of their contribution to the club.
A tribute video, dedicated to the former executives, was presented for the seniors where ACC members actively conveyed their appreciation to the seniors. A cake cutting ceremony was arranged for the farewell of seniors.
The program had “introduction session” of the newly recruited members. Finally, the program concluded with a cultural program which was enjoyed by all.
