On Sunday, September 14, 2025, AIUB Computer Club in collaboration with PUBG MOBILE organized PUBG MOBILE Campus Jam: Spooky Soiree, a one of a kind festival style competition designed exclusively for university students. The event took place from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM at AIUB Annex 2 lobby (2nd floor), attracting a large number of enthusiastic participants eager to experience gaming, fun activities and esports excitement under one roof.
The festival featured a variety of segments, each crafted to engage students in both entertainment and competition while embracing a spooky theme.
Mr. Abhijit Bhowmik, Associate Professor and Special Assistant of Office of Students Affairs (OSA) delivered a speech emphasizing the need of these kind of events to create awareness of eSports.
The most anticipated Scavenger Hunt, a three-phase challenge that kept participants on their toes. In the first phase, players tested their accuracy by throwing balls at spooky themed stickers, earning points for every successful touch. The second phase, Broomstick Run, added a playful twist as contestants raced to complete the fun filled task. The final phase concluded with Trivia, where participants answered three or more questions, securing points for every correct answer.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, a Dance performance was staged where performers grooved to PUBG MOBILE’s newly launched campus special theme song, energizing the crowd and setting the mood for the rest of the day.
The event also included Cosplay, where students showcased their creativity, though on a smaller scale, adding color and vibrancy to the spooky theme. A Lucky Spin booth gave participants the chance to win exciting rewards, keeping the engagement high throughout the day.
Gaming enthusiasts particularly enjoyed the PUBG TDM (Team Death Match) segment, which brought the competitive esports spirit alive inside the campus. Additionally, the PUBG Photo Booth allowed students to capture memories of the day with themed backdrops, giving them a fun keepsake to remember the event.
The festival concluded with an atmosphere of excitement, laughter and shared enthusiasm for gaming and community spirit. Overall, PUBG MOBILE Campus Jam: Spooky Soiree successfully blended competition, creativity and entertainment, making it a standout event under AIUB Computer Club’s new executive panel.
