10th and 11th Executive Panels Farewell Ceremony

AIUB Computer Club (ACC) successfully organized a farewell program on 20 August 2026 to honor and express gratitude to the members of the 10th Executive Committee (Session Summer 2022–2023) and the 11th Executive Committee (Session Summer 2023–2025) for their dedication, leadership, and valuable contributions to the club. The event celebrated their achievements and recognized their efforts in strengthening the AIUB Computer Club throughout their tenure. 

The event was graced by Dr. S. A. M. Manzur H. Khan, Proctor and Director, Office of Student Affairs (OSA), AIUB, Dr. Abhijit Bhowmik, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science, AIUB and club mentor, ACC, Mr. Rakib Aziz, Officer, Office of Student Affairs (OSA), AIUB, Md. Mazid-Ul-Haque Assistant Professor, Special Assistant (OSA), Department of Computer Science, AIUB and Mr. Md. Shahariar Parvez, Special Assistant, Faculty of Engineering (FE), Office of Student Affairs (OSA), AIUB.

Among the members present from the 11th Executive Committee (Session Summer 2023–2025) were Niloy Roy (President), Rinika Paul (Vice President), Tamim Hasan Apurbo (General Secretary), Mirza Mohiuddin (Assistant General Secretary, Design & Decorations), Faysal Mahmud (Assistant General Secretary, Design & Decorations),    Lamyea Farha Nammi (Assistant General Secretary, Media & Publications), Tanjila Ahmed Tunaj (Assistant General Secretary, Media & Publications), Mirza Saikat Ahmmed (Assistant General Secretary, Events), and Abrar Anan Raiyan (Assistant General Secretary, Event Coverage & Post Production). 

Representing the 10th Executive Committee (Session Summer 2022–2023) were Hasan Sanjary Islam (Vice President), Abu Junaed Mohd Asif (Assistant General Secretary, Events), Mintajur Rahman Emon (Assistant General Secretary, Media & Publications), Nur Newaz Oyon (Assistant General Secretary, Event Coverage & Post Production),  Sayeed Hasan (Assistant General Secretary, Design & Decorations), Maliha Tasnuva (Assistant General Secretary, Event Coverage & Post Production), and Sayeem Bin Ezaz (Assistant General Secretary, Research & Development). 

The program commenced with an inspiring speech by Dr. S. A. M. Manzur H. Khan, Proctor and Director, Office of Student Affairs (OSA), AIUB, who introduced the members of the New Executive Committee (Session Summer 2025–2026). 

One of the key highlights, Dr. Abhijit Bhowmik, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science, AIUB and Club mentor, ACC gave an inspiring speech reflecting on the dedication and effort given by the former executives in strengthening ACC.

Following his speech, certificates and crests were awarded to the members of the 10th Executive Committee (Session Summer 2022–2023) and the 11th Executive Committee (Session Summer 2023–2025) as tokens of appreciation for their remarkable service, dedication, and contributions to the AIUB Computer Club. 

A special farewell video, prepared by the 12th Executive Committee (Session Summer 2025-2026) and general members, was then played to celebrate the memorable journey and achievements of the outgoing executive panels. Following the video presentation, former executive members shared their experiences and reflections. 

Niloy Roy, President of the 11th Executive Committee spoke about his emotional attachment to ACC and how the club became an important part of his university life, assuring that ACC alumni would always remain supportive and connected.

Rinika Paul, Vice President of the 11th Executive Committee gave an encouraging speech to club members to embrace new opportunities, challenges, and responsibilities throughout their ACC journey. 

Tamim Hasan Apurbo, General Secretary of the 11th Executive Committee gave an inspiring speech to club members sharing his experiences with ACC and reflecting on his journey, growth, and the cherished moments.

The program concluded with a dinner attended by executive committee members and club members. The farewell celebrated the contributions of the outgoing executive committees and concluded with best wishes for their future endeavors.
