On 16th November 2019, AIUB Computer Club (ACC) organized a workshop titled “Mock Interview Workshop 1: Interviews are Communication” in room no. 1112, Annex-1, American International University Bangladesh. The objective of the workshop was to give a broad overview of a job interview that mostly fresh graduates face and how to make the most of the interview. The session was conducted by Md Ferdous Akhter, Former President, AIUB Computer Club (ACC), and Associate Software Engineer, Brainstation-23.
He initiated the workshop by welcoming everyone and an interchanging introduction with the students. Then, he discussed regarding objective, research and preparation, body language, typical asked questions, skills
and requirements, good and bad impression and also interview marking sheet. Further, he pointed out some key points to be successful at the viva board. Besides, a practical interview was conveyed with the help of some participants to display a real scenario.
Afterward, a photo session took place with the participants. The workshop session was extended a little bit for who were kin to gather more knowledge regarding specific career fields. Finally, the workshop was concluded with a question-answer session. AIUB Computer Club (ACC) would like to thank the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) for the support to organize the workshop.
