The journey of being a member in a student organization goes a full circle. After putting in an incredible amount of time, effort, and contribution into the growth of a club, there comes a moment when it’s time to bid farewell. Those who were once proactive members now transition into being an alumnus. On the 5th of April 2016, the AIUB Computer Club organized a Farewell Ceremony for their senior executive members who were set to graduate soon.
They took a moment to look over their journey as students at AIUB and members of ACC, reminiscing how each step evolved them as a person. The program was attended by several faculty members of the Faculty of Science & Information Technology [FSIT], including the Vice President, Academic Affairs and Dean of FSIT, Dr. Tafazzal Hossain, along with the Head of the Graduate Program, Dr. Tabin Hasan. They shared their best wishes for the graduating members, encouraging them to continue on their path to success as developed professionals in life.
The program was brought to a close by the graduating members being presented crests and certificates of appreciation by the honorable Dean, followed by a small cultural program put together by the remaining members of ACC in acknowledgement of all that the graduating members did for bringing the club this far.
